Sidari is the next main village heading North. Purely a tourist village born in the 60's Sidari is the best well known place for tourism. There is plenty of night life almost throughout the 24 hours. Over the last few years Sidari has orientated itself towards the younger set especially at night although there are still many of the original tavernas. As you walk to the far end of the beach away from Corfu Town you will come to the famous Canal De Amour in Peroulades. The village nearby is called Melitsa and although quite small it does offer everything that a tourist could need.
The next village travelling towards Corfu Town is Acheravi. Acheravi might almost be called a hamlet but it does have a very nice small beach and a few tavernas. Acheravi is quiet and suits the more mature family.
